Tiwa Savage Shocks The World With Her Emotional Farewell Message For Obama DMW 1

African bad girl, Tiwa has penned down a heartfelt message following the death of her friend and Davido’s aide, Obama DMW.

Born (Habeeb Uthman), Obama DMW passed away due to a cardiac arrest shortly after complaining of difficulty in breathing. Celebrities and fans took to Social media to mourn his death.

Reacting to his sudden death, Tiwa Savage via her Instagram account wrote an emotional message on how Obama changed her life. She recounted how he stood by her when everyone had forsaken her and how his friendship gave her the strength to be a better version of herself.

She disclosed that some people were trying to ruin his reputation by providing fake information about his life, while Obama has always kept silence about theirs.

She added that she will help fulfill some of his dreams, all the things they talked about and she will forever love him.

Brave heart, strong heart, soft heart, kind heart, pure heart, peace maker, hot stepper, incoming politician, I know you’d want me to add “stylish” to this list but ummmm yeah lol (abi @mekkamillions @therealjaybreeze @traficbabz @elizabeth_elohor @tiwaayankoya make I add am?)

SOMEONE SAID THEY TRIED TO RUIN YOUR REPUTATION BUT YOU SAVED THEIRS BY NOT TELLING YOUR STORY

I’ve never met anyone as brave/strong as you who was also as soft and kind as you. I don’t know why my cheesy jokes always made you laugh, you were ready to take a bullet for your loved ones

44 my black president, you chilling now, resting well, away from this cruel world. All your boys are a wreck, I’m sure you see them all crying like babies. You better tell them to be strong men. I’m allowed to cry, I’m a girl so don’t try to console me, I won’t listen to you anyway. I really don’t know what you were trying to prove sha, by leaving like this. It is so unlike you. This isn’t the end, that thing you and I always talked about. I PROMISE I WILL DO IT and you will be proud. We are only burying your body today cause your beautiful spirit can never be contained in that sand and don’t worry we got @manlikeabdul_omw He must finish university or imma whoop his behind

I LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU HABEEB

Till we meet again KING

Recall, Tiwa Savage and Obama DMW were rumored to be dating and it was also alleged once upon a time that Tiwa Savage was pregnant for him.

If Wizkid Wins At The 64 GRAMMYs, Would That Make Him Bigger Than ‘Fela’? 14

“After years of African artists edging closer to the center of Western pop music, Wizkid is the first African artist to truly make a major pop breakthrough in the United States and seems best poised to do so globally, too.”

Many times in the past, Music megastar, Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Big Wiz has been compared to Fela, considering his craft and style of music – Afrobeat. With the Legendary musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti being the pioneer of Afrobeat, there have been lots of claims that Wizkid would never amount to half of who Fela ever was during his time.

This spans in the direction of Fela being not just a musician, but an activist who, through his music preached democracy over dictatorship.

Wizkid, despite being recognized by the Grammy’s for his collaboration on Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl, many, including Fela’s last born, Seun Kuti do not regard him as a Grammy winner, as he insists he was only featured on her song.

Now that Wizkid’s most recent Body of Work, “Made In Lagos” is being considered for 10 categories in the 2022 Grammy Awards slated for 31st of January 2022, this brings us to the question: If Wizkid Wins Grammy, Would That Make Him Bigger Than Fela?

Kindly share your thoughts in the comment section.
