Reekado Banks Reveals Phone Call On Live Tv Was Prank

Nigerian artist, Reekado Banks has revealed that the phone call made by an unidentified lady during his interview on live tv was a prank.

The singer made this revelation in a tweet via his Twitter handle: @ReekadoBanks on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

According to him, he decided to come clean now because what was supposed to be a prank has now escalated.

He tweeted: “It is truly a problem when a media platform begins to pursue shock value at the expense of an artistes’ image.                                                                                                                                                                            “So that was a prank call on a tv show, it was funny then , but I do not like where this is headed!”

Earlier, the artist was live on Pop Central TV when the girl phoned in and accused him of sleeping with her and not calling her afterwards.
